The 17th edition of the JULIA MARGARET CAMERON award for women photographers was juried by Laura Ann Noble and Jennie Rickets. Thousands of entries were received from photographers all around the world for consideration by the pre-selection team of the Worldwide Photography Gala Awards and the final selection of the juror. I won the wildlife category as well as 2 honorable mentions. My “snoozing” juvenile leopard will be on display at the FotoNostrum gallery in Barcelona in October 2022. FotoNostrum’s mission is to increase society’s understanding and appreciation of photography and its evolving role in contemporary culture.
